2 root of a square <=> pie?
hey all, (assuming somebody, more than one, reads this :-) )
its monday... damn i hate mondays. they just sit there taunting you at how far away the weekend is. Been feeling down all day, not sure why? most likely the counting crows song i heard as i arrived on campus.
Lets see topics from the weekend...
Magic on sat. yeah i played in a ... i think it was a pre-"one week late"-release on sat. 1st time i've ever played in a magic tourni. didnt come last (i was 4 last, out of +50) even thou i hadnt played magic in roughly 4 years. quite proud of myself.
Corruption and crime... For those that know me i live in a "maids" room of the people i'm renting. now the family that i'm renting is your average fam. 2 kids and all( plus choc-lab ). On friday after blogging i went home and found the owner busy messing around in the garden. So as a good "rentie" i went and said hello. Anyway long story short. we where chating and he commented on the crime in the area (people getting tic over the montains etc) and he said that on occasion he's seen a white pick-up(bukkie) parked in a really strange area near the house and was contenplating calling the cops to inform them but said his only fear was calling the cops only running into a corrupt cop thats in league the criminals. That struck me as been the saddest thing ever. How can i, a 22 year old whom has dual passport in SA and UK, plan a family here in south africa? The answer is: i cant. i think the final straw will be at the end of the year when the ANC announce Zuma as next head of the ANC. To all my South African friends: i'm afraid that i will be leaving then. But thats only at the end of the year. :)
Love life... as someone whom txted(smsed) me said... can you eat it? so still nothing... but someone is slowly stealing my heart. You know who you are, i'm onto you. Smile.
